Alice and Tim had found the perfect venue to host their gorgeous homestead wedding. Aghadoe Estate offered all the countryside feels along with gorgeous French-inspired architecture and a stunning barn area to decorate as they pleased. With their goal of having a foot-loose and fancy-free day, they kept the schedule fairly open to allow ample time to chill in the garden and enjoy the delicious food and drink along with their guests. I must say, they did it well. I’m often asked how a couple should schedule their day, and to be honest, it would be something along these lines. Both dads wanted to speak early so they could enjoy the evening without nerves getting in the way (good call!) and so entertained everyone while the scrumptious cheese delicacies were served by Fresh Fork during cocktail hour.
Also, if you’ve ever contemplated doing a first look, this is an example of why it’s just as powerful as seeing each other down the aisle for the first time. Even better, we did it Wild West style, all back-to-back and quick-draw like, which was a little different and definitely effective. When Tim’s tears started flowing I had to take a second to gulp back my own… gah, ALL the emotions!
